INTERESTING ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS THIS MORNING

A satellite image showing a real vortex in the Arctic on August 9, 2007.

http://weather.unisys.com/satellite/sat_ir_us_loop-12.html

This is a forming vortex forming over Kansas. It is only a 3-hour loop but provides insight into the spinning activity. Not your usual jet stream. Is Kansas in the eye of the hurricane because of their Supreme Court's on the unfavorable MERS decision on their bundled mortgages and foreclosures? (Little weather humor)

OUR GALACTIC STAR UPDATE

Too often self-absorbed humanity walks around forgetting that we are but microscopic-like planetoid creatures with a galactic star providing us daily existence on a floating object in space. And, then sometimes I feel like I'm inhabiting a planetary Rent-A-Wreck.

Joint USAF/NOAA Report of Solar and Geophysical Activity 9-26-09 | Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be unsettled, with isolated active conditions, for day one (26 September) as a recurrent coronal hole high speed stream becomes geoeffective.
It would be TOO COOL to have an observatory in my backyard being able to take pictures of sunspots like this guy in Italy that took the following:

Behold sunspot 1026:

SATURDAY'S SINKHOLE STORY

WLBT Mississippi | Mother, daughter wind up in same sinkhole

ATTALA COUNTY (WLBT) Sep 25, 2009 6:15 PM CDT - An Attala County woman is in a Jackson hospital after her car fell into a sinkhole.

When the woman didn't show up for work, her daughter went looking for her.

The daughter ended up landing in the same hole, on top of her mother's car. She wasn't hurt, but her mother is being treated for non life-threatening injuries.

"Kosciusko Online," which shot this video, reports that the sinkhole was not visible to oncoming traffic.

Recent rains appear to be responsible for washing it out.

The magazine used 33 data points to determine rankings in the six main areas.

Business costs that include labor, energy and taxes were weighted the most heavily.

Forbes ranked Virginia as the best state for businesses and Rhode Island ranked last.

NOT SO HAPPY STATE NEWS

Anyone up for some tea? Unemployed people in Nebraska are unworthy of another quarter of unemployment benefits, but those in NY, CA, MI, etc are?

KANSAS HAS A VORTEX FORMING ABOVE IT - AND IOWA HAS ITS OWN PROBLEMS

Survey:DTN/The Progressive Farmer | Iowa Farmland Values Slip - State's Farmland Tumbles Almost 10 Percent in Past Year
Thu Sep 24, 2009 12:53 PM CDT -

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (DTN) -- Iowa farmland values lost another 1.9 percent from March 2009 to September 2009, according to a recently released survey by the Realtors Land Institute (RLI), pushing the state's land values down a total of 9.5 percent compared to a year ago.

Considerably lower commodity prices for both grain and livestock are the main reason for the steep year-over-year adjustment, said RLI spokesman Troy Louwagie, accredited land consultant with Hertz Real Estate Services, Mt. Vernon, Iowa. Other factors include volatility in the stock market and declining confidence in the world economy. The RLI surveys realtors and rural appraisers.

Family members should realize that cousin Ron died from Guillain-Barres and Dad's aunt Charlotte was suffering from it when she died - not recorded as the cause of her death. This is what can results from the effects of even the season flu vaccine given that vaccines are full of heavy metals and other crap. Our resident RN said (at least at her hospital here in Lincoln) that they ask whether you have a family history of Guillain-Barres and if you do they won't give you the shot. REMEMBER we definitely have it in our family!
Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) (French pronunciation: [ɡiˈlɛ̃ baˈʁe];[1][2] in English, pronounced /ˈɡiːlæn ˈbɑreɪ/,[3] /ɡiːˈlæn bəˈreɪ/,[4] etc.[5]) is an acute inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (AIDP), an autoimmune disorder affecting the peripheral nervous system, usually triggered by an acute infectious process. It is included in the wider group of peripheral neuropathies. There are several types of GBS, but unless otherwise stated, GBS refers to the most common form, AIDP. GBS is rare and has an incidence of 1 or 2 people per 100,000.[6] It is frequently severe and usually exhibits as an ascending paralysis noted by weakness in the legs that spreads to the upper limbs and the face along with complete loss of deep tendon reflexes. With prompt treatment by plasmapheresis or intravenous immunoglobulins and supportive care, the majority of patients will regain full functional capacity. However, death may occur if severe pulmonary complications and autonomic nervous system problems are present.[7] Guillain-Barre is one of the leading causes of non-trauma-induced paralysis in the world.

You saw where a "Al Gore backed Car Firm Gets Large U.S. Loan". Yup, I'd say over half a billion is a good-sized loan alright. On its merits, of course. You betcha.

Are we supposed to not notice that the cars will be built in FINLAND? WTF: Why it didn't occur to anyone in the rubber-stamp line to require the dough be spent in the US? This is presactly the kind of question the asleep at the wheel MSM oughta be asking?
