Evening News Update | Saturday - November 21, 2009

Another Saturday night ... and looks like they were busy tonight in Washington DC:

Health care bill clears first Senate hurdle on party-line vote...
Broder: Budget-buster...
Senate staffer lugged two-foot tall tower of papers...
Tax would hit H1N1 vaccine manufacturers...

Personally I hate to say, I think it will become irrelevant whether or not they pass the Healthcare bill due to the dollar collapse upcoming. This country is bankrupt. The news coming out regarding ROUGE GOVERNMENT and gold plated tungsten bars given to Chinese billionaires ... add in China is NOT in favor of the Western Global Governance idea of the UK and US - coming out of Copenhagen. US and our "carry trade" is another issue - giving rise to asset bubbles that caused the global economic collapse to begin with and it's not stopping.
Germany warns US on market bubbles; Echoes China's fears...

Personally when it comes to Washington DC being concerned about American citizens - I'd laugh. Look at the trillions of dollars handed to globalist banksters ... if they WERE CONCERNED about the populous they sure wouldn't have handed trillions to private banksters!!

From a forum tonight that I visit:
My nephew is here from Michigan visiting this weekend. He told me today everyone is talking about it that Food stamps have been FROZEN .. He said a friend of his went and applied for them and was told there was a federal freeze on ALL gov services.
Anyone else hear anything about this?
Responses on this forum also spoke of fewer people doing the work and a long waiting time to get food stamps - up to six weeks. Not good if you needed food! Michigan is hurting.

Struggling Detroit unable to bury its dead...

Unemployment Rose in 29 States Last Month; Michigan Rate Highest at 15.1%...

The word REVOLUTION is also becoming relevant with the incoming mountain of news. Pictures speak louder than words and maybe this billboard seen from I70 in Missouri says it:

WHAT'S GOING ON IN OUR SOLAR SYSTEM?

EXTRA SUN HALOS

Normally, when we see an ice halo around the sun, it is a single ring. But yesterday in Sumrall, Mississippi, sky watcher Barry Russell counted more. "There were [at least] 3 halos around the sun! I was really shocked to see 3 of them at once," he says.

Where did the extra rings come from? Atmospheric optics expert Les Cowley explains: "Ice crystals with pyramid-shaped ends made these halos. Most of the halos we see are from six-sided plate-shaped and pencil-shaped crystals with flat ends. Put pyramids on their ends and the sun’s rays can pass through them in several more ways to make odd-radius halos. Here, in addition to the familiar 22o circular halo we have ones of 9o, 18o, 23o and 24o radius."

" Pyramidal halos are often overlooked," Cowley notes. "Search for them whenever cirrus clouds drift in front og the sun." SOURCE: http://spaceweather.com/

VOLCANOES UPDATE

NEMO DIVE! Dive to an active submarine volcano from your computer!

I found the following website by a very strange route - trying to find out about the Nazca tectonic plate - the tectonic plate that sits between the Pacific and South American plates.

http://www.pmel.noaa.gov/vents/nemo/dive.html

NAZCA PLATE and GALERAS VOLCANO THAT IS ERUPTING TODAY IN THE COUNTRY OF COLUMBIA

Notice the Nazca plate in the map below, shown in light blue between the Pacific and South American plates (Click on the map to see it in a larger format)
The Northern Volcanic Zone (NVZ) is a name given to one of the volcanic arcs formed due to subduction of the Nazca Plate under western South America. Galeras volcano sits on this particular Volcanic Zone.
Subduction zones are often noted for their high rates of volcanism, earthquakes, and mountain building. This is because subduction processes result in melt of the mantle that produces a volcanic arc as relatively lighter rock is forcibly submerged.
With "rumors" of a potential eventual cracking of the Pacific plate as evidenced by the activity of the Pacific Ring of Fire - tectonic plates are of interest to me! Cracking of tectonic plates - and look at the 2004 tsunami.

I received a News Alert for "volcano" and this headline from AFP: 1000 people evacuated after Colombia volcano erupts. Nice tidy headline of an event - but, reading it one would assume Columbia had ONE volcano - NOT JUST ONE OF A REAL HERD OF VOLCANOES!

I check out this headline and read the article about the evacuation of only 1,000 of the 9,000 people in the area. It left me scratching my head - WHY did 8,000 people stay behind or what made 1,000 people leave? So, after a great deal of research I found a South American website IN SPANISH. I do not read Spanish - so used the handy-dandy Google Translate. As you can see from the article I found below - I now feel relief that all in danger had and wanted to be moved out of the way of actual danger. Our government's involvement with Columbia is a whole-nother story of our nation always at war.

(Following is translated from Spanish to English using Google Translate: http://translate.google.com/#)

Red alert in Nariño for eruption of Galeras, 8 thousand people evacauadas

At least 8 thousand people in the city of Pasto and the municipalities of Nariño and Florida in the department of Nariño, were moved to temporary shelters in the governorate, following an eruption on eight Friday night Galeras volcano.

This was reported on the National System for Disaster Prevention and Response, who reported that after the eruption of Galeras, alerts authorities to level I went red, which means "eruption imminent or in progress", so that ordered the transfer of persons.

"Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Pasto reports that the November 20, 2009 at 8:37 pm there was an eruption of Galeras volcano of an explosive nature, "said an official statement.

The State agency reported no casualties or damage.

Evacuees were taken to eight shelters and all are residents of villages located in the vicinity of the volcano. The Galeras volcano has a height of 4276 meters over sea level and with this eruption are ten which record this year.

The Justice Department intends to drop manslaughter and weapons charges against one of the Blackwater Worldwide security guards involved in a deadly 2007 Baghdad shooting, prosecutors said in court documents Friday.

The shooting in busy Nisoor Square left 17 Iraqis dead and inflamed anti-American sentiment abroad.

NATO calls on Israel for naval support

November 21, 2009 - Ties between Israel and NATO have firmed with the decision by NATO to tap the Israeli navy for assistance.

Israel will send one of its warships to the Mediterranean to join NATO's Active Endeavor naval force, patrols the Eastern Mediterranean and monitors shipping to help detect, deter and protect against terrorist activity, boarding ships when necessary.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Now that the Israeli military has become nearly fully integrated with the US military, we see an integration of Israel into the NATO military structure.

While this is of great benefit to Israel, it is not to the benefit of either the US or NATO.

The operation is conducted from the Allied Maritime Component Command Naples, Italy through a Task Force deployed in the Mediterranean.

An Israeli liason officer is already with the force.

The Deputy Secretary-General of NATO Claudio Bisogniero will will be in Israel on Monday and Tuesday of next week. He will lead a delegation which will conduct high level talks with Israeli officials on the Israeli participation in the Mediterranean.

During his visit to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, Bisogniero will meet with Israeli Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Avigdor Liberman, the Chairman and members of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee of the Knesset, the Deputy Minister of Defense Matan Vilnai, the Head of the National Security Council of Israel Dr.Uzi Arad, and other government officials.

If all goes according to plam the Israeli warship will likely join the NATO force early next year.

Arrangements have been agreed for the Israeli vessel to circumvent missions involving Arab territorial waters.

Campaign For Liberty - By Peter Schiff | Our Financial Dependence on China - The Truth Behind China's Currency Peg

November 21, 2009 -

During President Obama's high profile visit to China this week, the most frequently discussed, yet least understood, topic was how currency valuations are affecting the economic relationship between the United States and China. The focal problem is the Chinese government's policy of fixing the value of the renminbi against the U.S. dollar. While many correctly perceive that this 'peg' has contributed greatly to the current global imbalances, few fully comprehend the ramifications should that peg be discarded....

......However, this does not mean that I want the Chinese to maintain the status quo. In the long run, the U.S. economy will benefit from the abandonment of a system that guarantees our dependency and inevitable downfall. De-pegging will force the hand of U.S. politicians toward pursuing realistic policies. The Chinese will come to their senses eventually because it is in their interest to do so. Meanwhile, the longer the peg is maintained, the more indebted we become, the more out of balance our economy grows, and the more our industrial base shrivels. In short, the longer they wait, the steeper our fall.

A weaker dollar will price many imported products beyond the reach of most Americas, giving our hollowed out manufacturing sector the opportunity to rebound. However, if our industry has any chance of getting off the mat, we must reduce taxes, repeal regulations, reform our cumbersome legal system, and, most importantly, replenish our savings to finance the necessary capital investment.

If we position ourselves to deal with the consequences, tough love from China will provide a path back to genuine economic growth. However, if our politicians continue to misread the problem and push us deeper in the red, the inevitable 'rebalancing' could be truly ruinous.

Hope everyone is having a good Saturday. I personally could use another few hours in a day to get done all I need and want to get done. But then, what is DONE is anyway? Talk at you all later.

Morning News Update | Saturday November 21, 2009

Saturday morning ... I'm having one of those WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE mornings in reference to the news coming out today.

The Jim Willie's article from Thursday has now hit Alex Jone's InfoWar website yesterday afternoon with the title "GOLD MARKET BREAKDOWN"
. The one thing I have always liked about Alex Jone's site is his checking out his sources and providing links ... not just editorials. He appeared to use the same link straight off of Steve Quayle's website that I used when I sent out my Very Late Night News Update on Thursday Nov 19th.

The Jim Willie's name annexed to the topic of gold ... gets people's attention as to authenticity of the information.

MY OWN ALEX JONE'S INFOWARS COMMERCIAL:

You can be assured that Jones made checks to the authenticity of Quayle's "NEWS ALERT" before he linked it to his own InfoWars.com website. Add in the fact that Russ Limbaugh - a minion of the PowersThatBe had Alex's website linked on the top of his website the other day .... Alex has finally gotten some real mainstream attention - maybe will wake up some sleeping sheeple if they start visiting Jone's news website!

Steve Quayle has been in the gold business for decades and if you want the cutting edge news on topics - go to those with a history of being those in the know on those topics. If you want to know about Police State USA (and the military involvement in store for our country) and the history of the PowersThatBe and the United Nations involvement with the fate of the United States - go to Alex Jones.

Jones has a photographic memory and can remember dates, names, etc. that he has read a decade ago and he can pull it right up as if he had read it a few hours before. He has read those hard core documents out of places like the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), United Nations, Rockefeller's many foundations, Rothschilds, etc that is affecting the take down of our country currently underway.

TAKE YOU TIME AND ENERGY AND WATCH SOME OF ALEX JONE'S VIDEOS!! Go to Alex's YouTube Channel and at least watch one:

Watch them NOW before the PowersThatBe wipes them off YouTube. Alex Jones is on Obama's list of his 25 top enemies (news broken out the UK weeks back) ... Jones exposes TRUTH about events and backs them up with visual truths ... he is in his 30's and very good with putting together a video presentation that keeps your attention versus reading dry, difficult text of historic events that have added up to the reason our country is headed towards being a Banana Republic VERY SOON.

I personally am worried about his physical safety due to his exposing the truth of what is taking place with the power elite of this globe. SUICIDED is the term used when someone gets murdered and suicide is given as the cause of death. Alex frequently states he is NOT feeling suicidal for that reason - to let people know if something happens to him it WAS NOT by his own hand! Death squads are a governmental reality. Start reading about the deaths of microbiologists - and in light of the current flu pandemic .... WHISTLEBLOWERS are brave individuals.

"Internationalist bankers continue to be above our national sovereignty"

... a quote of Alex Jone's yesterday during his interview with Bob Chapman (link to YouTube of this interview)... maybe says more than pages of links to news articles! Take your time to at least listen to yesterday's interview on YouTube.

OUR PLANET'S PROTECTIVE MAGNETOSPHERE UPDATE: November 21, 2009 at 9:30 AM CDT

http://www2.nict.go.jp/y/y223/simulation/realtime/index.html

Magnetic Storm's impact: Induce currents in pipelines accelerating their corrosion
YOU CAN BE SURE THIS IS ON MY LIST TO RESEARCH

The magnetic field surrounding the earth is usually thought to be constant. However, magnetic field disturbances in the interplanetary space (the space between the sun and the planets) can alter the magnetic field surrounding the earth. Interplanetary magnetic field disturbances occur due to violent processes at the sun, such as the ejection of a large volume of hot and charged matter known as Coronal Mass Ejections (CME).

The interplanetary magnetic field variations add to the earth’s own magnetic field often severely changing the magnetic field surrounding the earth.

This phenomenon is known as a Geomagnetic Storm. Depending on its severity, it can:
  • Induce damaging current surges in electrical power lines causing widespread blackouts
  • Induce currents in pipelines accelerating their corrosion
  • Play havoc on satellite electronics
  • Cause astronauts to be subjected to excess radiation requiring them to take cover in special compartments aboard the International Space Station

SUNSPOTS UPDATE

Solar activity remains at very low levels. It looks like Sunspot 1032 is fading and Sunspot 1033 remains fairly small as well.

Haven't had the time or energy to read the boards on Sunspots in the last week or so. Still feeling sad about my solar scientist internet friend who went into a hospice because of his heart problems ... haven't heard nor seen anymore from him since the last email I got from him.

I can say he was very upset with the giving of sunspots a number when they weren't worthy of designation - a governmental agenda.

This morning I did go look at what those guys had for 'breaking news' forum topics and the following is what they were talking about:

Wrecking Climate Research Unit (CRU) : Hackers cause massive climate data breach - Secretive scientists' source code goes walkabout

I personally see that headline as another EXCUSE for the government to start limiting internet access for our "safety" - thereby limiting the populous' access to REAL news and not just the corporate-government's media crap.

Those guys are REALLY MAD about the government bogarting the publishing of scientific data and information obtained and paid for by taxpayers funds - and then giving out data to the public that they can easily see as data being fraudulent and totally spun for the government's globalist financial/political agenda.
From UrbanDictionary: bogart (slang verb) To keep something all for oneself, thus depriving anyone else of having any.

Possible Conspiracy To Falsify Temperature Data Uncovered

E-mail messages between high-ranking scientists appear to indicate a conspiracy by some of the world's leading global warming alarmists to falsify temperature data in order to exaggerate global averages.

Those involved allegedly include: James Hansen, Director of NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies; Michael Mann, famous for Mann's "Hockey Stick"; Gavin Schmidt, NASA climate modeler, and; Stephen Schneider, Stanford professor and Al Gore confidant.

A statement released Friday by the alarmist website RealClimate has confirmed that e-mail servers at the University of East Anglia's Climate Research Unit (CRU) in Norwich, England, were hacked recently with contents illegally made available over the Internet.

Although the authenticity of all these e-mail messages has yet to be proven, what's currently available points to a coordinated attempt to manipulate climate data by those directly involved in advancing the theory of anthropogenic global warming.

It will be a very great day in America when criticism of a black president can be accepted as just that, criticism, not racism, and I hope you look upon this essay as just that.

Obama ran his candidacy on the premise that America had a failed system and that we needed change; but in this humble person's belief, I see this presidency promoting the most radical, left-wing government in our history as it attaches individualism, the heart of our democracy at every level.

We are fighting two wars, losing thousands of cherished loved ones and crippling many more brave men and women; we have a financial crisis as banks fail, as industries fail, as unemployment rises, creating financial problems for states, cities and towns. We have millions losing their homes, living in tent cities, and most who have jobs cannot afford a home.

While this is going on our leaders in Washington keep solving these problems with more taxes put on the backs of middle-class Americans already struggling to meet their needs through hard work.

The Cap and Trade bill, according to the Treasury Department, will cost $200 billion and raise average Americans' energy bills by $1,761 yearly.

President Obama is proposing 71 different, new welfare programs at an estimated cost of $800 billion and a projected cost over the next decade of $10 trillion.

His administration is proposing a Value Added Tax (VAT) that in some industrial nations is as high as 25 percent added to the cost of goods, but not seen at the cash register when purchases are made. Along with this tax they propose a financial transaction tax that will cost Americans another $100 to $150 billion a year.

Taxes on soda, on health insurance, on incomes — taxes on just about everything to share the wealth for everyone — socialism, that dreaded word — progressive liberalism for all. Welcome to change.

The current health care program in Washington is our attempt to have what other nations have; but in all the talk, nothing is really done about the cost.

Germany, which has health care, taxes its citizens at the rate of 14.9 percent of income and is now facing problems to maintain this health insurance. France has health care and taxes citizens as high as 50 percent of income to support health care and is facing problems.

It is not possible to provide health care for 30 million more Americans, not increase the budget deficit and allow everyone with their current insurance to experience no change. Health insurance will create enormous tax hikes, premium costs and Medicare cuts, but no one really talks about this.

The president has talked about the future, green energy, save the globe and the jobs that green energy solutions will create for Americans that will lead us down the road to new economic growth and once again a leader of the world.

Well, Mr. Obama, the world is not waiting for us to lead this new green energy age. The Shenyang Power Group of China will supply 240 of its 2.5 megawatt wind turbines for a 36,000-acre wind farm in West Texas. This project will create 2,800 new jobs, 15 percent in Texas, 85 percent in China. American green energy jobs? To top this all, the wind turbine technology China is using comes with a license from a German company. That's what Obama calls American leadership — some change.

I hope America is waking up. I hope America is not blinded by the rhetoric. Failure to look at the ramifications of these proposals could destroy what made this nation great, its philosophical principles, its moral values, its institutions that are necessary for a nation to flourish and the very fundamental foundations that made this the land of the free.

Canadian diplomat alleges troops in Afghanistan were complicit in torture --Senior diplomat formerly stationed in Kabul claims troops 'handed over for severe torture a lot of innocent people' 20 Nov 2009 The Canadian government was fending off calls for a public inquiry on torture today after allegations from one of its senior diplomats that Canada was complicit in the torture of Afghan detainees. Richard Colvin, who was second in command at Canada's Kabul embassy in 2006 and 2007, said that Afghans swept up in security sweeps by Canadian troops during that time were routinely handed over to the Afghan intelligence services. "According to our information, the likelihood is that all the Afghans we handed over were tortured," Colvin told Canada's parliament. "For interrogators in Kandahar, it was standard operating procedure. "In other words, we detained, and handed over for severe torture, a lot of innocent people."

All Afghan detainees likely tortured: diplomat 18 Nov 2009 All detainees transferred by Canadians to Afghan prisons were likely tortured by Afghan officials and many of the prisoners were innocent, says a former senior diplomat with Canada's mission in Afghanistan. Appearing before a House of Commons committee Wednesday, Richard Colvin blasted the detainees policies of Canada and compared them with the policies of the British and the Netherlands. The detainees were captured by Canadian soldiers then handed over to the Afghan intelligence service, called the NDS. "According to our information, the likelihood is that all the Afghans we handed over were tortured. For interrogators in Kandahar, it was a standard operating procedure," Colvin said. He said the most common forms of torture were beatings, whipping with power cables, the use of electricity, knives, open flames and rape.

Notes from Bagram prison By James Bays 18 Nov 2009 In the past, military officials have refused to go on the record about the number of prisoners at the jail. Of these, "about 30" were non-Afghans, and "about 5" were juveniles... A new command has been set up, to take charge of all detainee operations in Afghanistan, including Bagram. Of course, CJTF-435 is a US operation, not part of ISAF (the NATO force). Many other NATO and ISAF nations are very uneasy about Bagram and what goes on there.

US to drop shooting case against Blackwater guard Friday, 20 Nov 2009 5:35 PM The Justice Department intends to drop manslaughter and weapons charges against one of the Blackwater Worldwide security guards terrorists involved in a deadly 2007 Baghdad shooting, prosecutors said in court documents Friday. The shooting in busy Nisoor Square left 17 Iraqis dead and inflamed anti-American sentiment abroad. Iraqis have said they're watching closely to see how the U.S. judicial system handles the five men accused of unleashing an unprovoked attack on civilians with machine guns and grenades. A one-paragraph notice filed Friday says only that prosecutors have asked that the case against Nicholas Slatten of Sparta, Tenn., be dropped. The government's detailed request asking the judge to dismiss the case was filed with the court and with the defendant, but was not made public. [Obama is terrified of Blackwater. Did Blackwater threaten to assassinate him? I mean, c'mon. This is nuts, and transcends Obusha's usual Friday night 'bad news dump.' --LRP]

In talks likely to result in millions of dollars in penalties, executives from the company, now known as Xe Services, are negotiating with government regulators over years of violations of export laws. According to government officials and former company employees, many of the violations involve arms shipments to Iraq, to outfit company security guards operating inside the country.

Many Americans also feel the testing of the swine flu vaccine was done too quickly so its safety is uncertain (40 percent).
