Wednesday Morning - December 23, 2009

Morning December 23, 2009

We have only 2 things to worry about:

That things will never get back to normal and that they already have.

Always like it when I wake up in the morning ... would prefer to wake up to a Spring morning with the windows open than a Winter morning with 'light freezing rain'.

Silicon based industrial chemical is now found in Pizza Hut cheese .. a chemical sold by Dow-Corning - approved by FDA as anti-foaming agent for boiling water - not for food. (You can use your pizza cheese also for the treatment of head lice.) This chemical used by Leprino Foods out of Denver Colorado has NO FDA approval as a food ingredient. Maybe we can start using that silicon you buy in tubes to put around bathtubs - for our homemade pizzas? News links are further down in my News Update.

What the heck ... am beginning to believe that Americans consume no real food only made-made chemicals ... and then there is the whole issue of what multinational corporations are doing to seeds - seeds a 'resource' needing to be overseen by the upcoming global government of the elitists' dreams via the UN, World Bank, etc.

Will start this morning with thoughts of the military and their man-made lightening ... another what the heck.

Military Science: Hack stormy skies to lord over lightning (are they nuts?)

The military’s scientific fringe has toyed with weather manipulation and geo-engineering for years. Recently, ideas like adding iron to the ocean, or covering the Arctic with dust, have been floated in a bid stave off global warming. But the Pentagon’s also got a long track record of plotting to screw with enemy climates and improve their own operational abilities.

Now, Darpa’s got a new target for geo-hacking science, and if they can make it work, we might see modern firearms making way for weapons of the mythological variety. The out-there research agency is soliciting proposals that would harness control over “the natural mechanism of lightning initiation” by coming up with a way to launch manmade lightning bolts, and prevent or redirect natural lightning strikes — and their accompanying destruction.

“Lightning causes more than $1B/year in direct damages to property in addition to the loss of lives, disruption of activities (for example, postponement of satellite launches) and their corresponding costs,” the solicitation notes. Until now, no one’s been too clear on how lightning is formed or how it travels, and the fact that most of the activity is going on inside thunderclouds doesn’t help. That’s why Darpa wants “rocket-triggered lightning” that can be shot off from the ground and then studied as it moves and touches down.

Once the natural mechanism of lightning formation and travel is understood, the agency wants a plan to predict lightning strikes — and then either stop the storms, or reroute them to a better strategic location.

And Americans everywhere should brace themselves for stormy skies, because Darpa wants the storm-brewing techniques to be tested nationwide:

The United States is home to thunderstorms of various type, duration, scale and intensity. This program would like to capitalize on the unique geographic features of various locations across the CONUS [Continental United States] that offer an increased likelihood of intercepting thunderstorms that exhibit unique characteristics.

Republican Attorney Generals eyeing deal that landed Nelson's vote on health care bill

A cadre of Republican state attorneys general are gathering steam for a possible lawsuit if a provision that secured a crucial U.S. Senate vote on the Democratic health care proposal remains in the legislation.

The top lawyers say exempting Nebraska alone from millions of dollars in higher Medicaid costs in exchange for Democratic Sen. Ben Nelson's support of the bill would violate Constitutional provisions requiring equal treatment among states.

"We think this is an absolutely unprecedented example of favoring one state over other states," said Colorado Attorney General John Suthers. "Constitutional experts are looking at it. It wouldn't be ripe for litigation unless signed by the President. But if it is, a bunch of states will challenge it."

U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., broke with Democratic ranks this week when he criticized his moderate colleagues for demanding concessions for their votes in what he termed "backroom deals".

But Bennet said he will vote for the legislation.

Iran sanctions are precursor to war by Ron Paul -- Last week the House overwhelmingly approved a measure to put a new round of sanctions on Iran. If this measure passes the Senate, the United States could no longer do business with anyone who sold refined petroleum products to Iran or helped them develop their ability to refine their own petroleum. The sad thing is that many of my colleagues voted for this measure because they felt it would deflect a military engagement with Iran. Trillions Of Troubles Ahead - A crushing burden of debt threatens to sap America's growth for years to come

Forbes
Not too long ago, a billion dollars in a governmental budget was a lot of money. Then we got into hundreds of billions. People understood that this was a lot, just because of all the zeros. Now, unfortunately, the number has become small: the world "trillion," as in $1.2 trillion for health care reform, seems so tiny. But it has 12 zeroes behind it, which is so easy to forget.

A legal firebrand whose work fighting corruption left both Bill Clinton and Dick Cheney on the defensive today took on Barack Obama, suing the president for secret meetings with Planned Parenthood and other lobbyists on his plans to nationalize health care.

Larry Klayman, founder of Judicial Watch and, more recently, Freedom Watch USA, filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., under the Federal Advisory Committee Act. The law requires disclosure of records of meetings between the executive branch and outside industry lobbyists. It also requires access to meetings.

Klayman raised the same issues during the early years of the Clinton administration, contributing to the demise of the health care proposal championed by Hillary Clinton.

The lawsuit charges that in Obama's "haste to socialize medicine in the United States, and increase government control generally," he has "violated his commitment to transparency." READ MORE ...

The Symbolism Hidden Within "THE WIZARD of OZ"
~ author unknown

The "Wizard of Oz", written by L. Frank Baum, is not a mere child's story.

What is "Oz" a symbol for?
Ounces.

What is measured in ounces? Gold.

What is the yellow brick road? Bricks or ingot bars of gold.

The character known as the Straw Man represents that fictitious, ALL CAPS, legal fiction - a PERSON, the Federal U.S. Government created with the same spelling as your birth name.

Remember what the Straw Man wanted from the Wizard of Oz? A Brain! No juristic person - legal fiction - paper corporation has a brain because he/she has no breath of life.

What did he get in place of a brain? A certificate: a Birth Certificate for a new legal creation.

He was proud of his new legal status, plus all the other legalisms he was granted. Now he becomes the epitome of the brainless sack of straw who was given a certificate in place of a grain of common sense.

Now, what about the Tin Man? Does Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN)

He's the heartless and emotionless creature robotically carrying out his daily task as though he were already dead. He's the ox pulling the plow and the mule toiling under the yoke. These days, his task masters just oil him nightly with beer and place him in front of a hypnotic television until his very existence no longer has any meaning or value. His masters keep him cold on the outside and heartless on the inside in order to control any emotion or feeling that might arise.

The Cowardly Lion was always too frightened to stand up for himself. Of course, he was a bully and a big mouth when it came to picking on those smaller than he. (Have you ever noticed how bullies are really the biggest cowards? They act as though they have great courage, but, in reality, have none at all. They roar, but with no teeth of authority to back them up.) When push came to shove, the Cowardly Lion always buckled under and whimpered when anyone of any size or stature challenged him. The Cowardly Lion wanted courage from the Grand Wizard, so he was awarded a medal of "official" recognition. Now, although remaining a coward, his official status allowed him to be a bully, but with officially recognized authority. (He's not unlike the Attorneys who hide behind the Middle Courts of the Temple Bar.) et al ad infinitum.

What about the trip through the field of poppies? Did you notice how this had no narcotic effect on the Straw Man (no brain) or the Tin Man (no heart or soul)? They weren't real people, so drugs could not influence them.

The Wizard of Oz was written at the turn of the century, so how could the author have known America was going to be drugged?

The Crown has been playing the drug cartel game for centuries.

Just look up the history of Hong Kong and the Opium Wars.

The Crown already had valuable experience conquering all of China with drugs, so why not the rest of the world?

What was the Emerald City? The Federal Reserve System.

Who finally exposed the Wizard for what he really was?

Toto, the ugly (or cute, depending on your perspective) and somewhat annoying little dog. Toto means "in total, all together; Latin in toto."

What was it that the witch wanted after she alleged that the little dog had bitten her? TOTO. ... everything. Notice how Toto was not scared of the Great Wizard's theatrics, yet he was so small in size, compared to the Wizard, that no one seemed to notice him?

The smoke, flames and holographic images of Oz were designed to frighten people into doing as the Great Wizard commanded.

Toto simply padded over, looked behind the curtain (the COURT, etc.), saw it was a scam, started barking until others paid attention to him and came to see what all the barking was about. Who was behind the curtain?

Just an ORDINARY PERSON controlling the levers that created the illusion of the Great Wizard's power and authority.

When Toto pulled back the curtain and completely exposed him, the charade was at an end. (The veil hiding the corporate legal fiction and its false courts was removed.)

The Wizard's game was UP. What was he after all? ... a con-man. A FRAUD.

We can see, in this tale, just how loud the bark from a little dog can be.

How about YOUR bark? How big is it?

Most of us remain silent and wait to be given whatever food and recognition, if any, by our legal master.

Let us not forget those pesky flying monkeys. What perfect mythical creatures to represent the Bar Association Attorneys who attack and control the little people for the Great Crown Wizard, the powerful and grand Bankers of Oz: GOLD!

How, finally, was the evil witch destroyed? .... pure, clean water LIQUIDATION!

How, at last, did Dorothy get home? She simply clicked her heels. She always had the power, and SO DO WE!

What would it take to expose the Wizard for what he is, tearing away his veils?

We each need only a brain, a heart and soul --- and COURAGE.

Then, and perhaps of the greatest importance, we need to learn HOW to WORK TOGETHER.

Only "in TOTO," WORKING TOGETHER as ONE Body of the King of Kings, (whatever name or form that may take for each of us), can we have the freedom given under God's Law.

recall anything to mind? The poor TIN Man just stood there mindlessly doing his work until his body literally froze up and stopped functioning. He worked himself to death because he had no heart nor soul.
*** end of article ***

This appears to be a message to expose the banking cartel in America, and to let the people know that they have the power to 'liquidate' them and get back to Kansas - the real land/republic (Hab 2.6-8).

Here are some of the important points made in this movie in an article by an unknown author:

The saints need to come out of the accounting/charging system of commerce, and into the forgiving/serving system of cooperation and love. The saints now can and MUST return to the "Garden" (Isa 51.3; 52.8-12)!

Bolivian President Morales wants to promote the experience of the Bolivian revolution in Africa raising political awareness among indigenous people

Peoples on the African continent must shed the "imperialistic manacles"
and nationalize their natural resources

December 22, 2009 - Morales, 50, who has headed Bolivia since 2006, is continuing his second presidential term after he won elections again in December 2009 with 63% of the vote.

"I asked a number of Bolivian trade union leaders to study English so that I can send them later to Africa to raise awareness among the population of the need to restore the political power of the people," Morales said at a meeting celebrating the 73rd anniversary of the state oil company Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB).

"I want to tell the whole world and primarily the African countries that natural resources must belong to the people rather than to transnational corporations and a bunch of oligarchs, as it turns out to be, for example, in Nigeria," Morales said.

Morales is Bolivia's first fully indigenous national leader. Since he came to power, industries including oil-and-gas and transportation have been nationalized mainly to fund social programs.

He is also the leader of the Movement for Socialism (MAS), a Bolivian socialist political party, which is committed to equality, indigenous rights, agrarian land reforms and the constitutional reform with the goal to improve the well-being of the impoverished population of the country.

Among the poor, rural and indigenous population, the MAS enjoys nearly unanimous support.

The sun sets behind the Kansas Statehouse in Topeka on Monday, the winter solstice.

SUN

SOLAR ACTIVITY: Yesterday, Dec. 22nd at approximately 0455 UT, magnetic fields around sunspot 1036 erupted, producing a C7-class solar flare. NASA's STEREO-A spacecraft was almost directly above the sunspot at the time of the blast and recorded this extreme ultraviolet movie:

The shadowy wave racing away from the blast site is a "solar tsunami"--a swell of hot, magnetized plasma about 100,000 km high packing as much energy as a million megatons of TNT. The tsunami petered out before it went more than halfway around the sun, but another manifestation of the blast is still going. The eruption hurled a faint coronal mass ejection (CME) into space and the billion-ton cloud should cross Earth's orbit on or about Dec. 25th. A glancing blow to Earth's magnetic field could spark polar auroras for Christmas.

Sunspots 1036 and 1038 are members of new Solar Cycle 24.

Taliban claim control of over 80pc of Afghanistan 22 Dec 2009 Rejecting as baseless the US allegations about the presence of Afghan Taliban in the tribal areas, a militant commander said they did not need to flee to the neighbouring country when the Taliban controlled major parts of Afghanistan. Mulla Sangeen, a key commander of the Afghan Taliban, claimed there was no truth in the US charges, as the Taliban were holding 80 per cent of the territory in Afghanistan.

NATO says no deadline for Afghan troop withdrawal 22 Dec 2009 The head of NATO said on Tuesday there would be no deadline for the exit of allied troops from Afghanistan, as fears grow among Afghans that foreign forces will leave before their own troops are able to guarantee security. NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen was visiting Afghanistan for the first time since U.S. President Barack Obama announced plans this month to send 30,000 extra troops to Afghanistan to try and tame mounting violence.

Blackwater Eyes Afghan Contractor Surge 21 Dec 2009 Virginian-Pilot As the United States builds up its military presence in Afghanistan, private contractors mercenaries are flocking there in even greater numbers. And Xe, the company formerly known as Blackwater, is in the hunt to get a share of the new work. According to a report last week from the Congressional Research Service, there were about 64,000 uniformed U.S. troops in Afghanistan in September and 104,101 military contractors -- 62 percent of the Defense Department work force there. The Obama administration's planned deployment of 30,000 more troops in the coming months could require as many as 56,000 more contractors, the report estimated. Xe, the Moyock, N.C.-based private military company terrorist organization, is already on the ground in Afghanistan despite its controversial history in Iraq, and is in the running for additional contracts.

Lithuania 'hosted at least two secret CIA prisons' 22 Dec 2009 A Lithuanian inquiry has found that the US Central Intelligence Agency set up and used secret prisons on its soil following the September 11, 2001 terror attacks in the US. Lithuania's intelligence agency assisted the CIA-run secret prisons, which were used to hold at least eight 'al-Qaeda' suspects, the parliamentary panel in charge of the probe said in a report on Tuesday. The National Security Committee report records instances in 2005 and 2006 when chartered planes were allowed to land in Lithuania, adding that all the Lithuanian officials, including President Dalia Grybauskaite, were kept in the dark about the aircraft's passengers.

Lithuanian spy agency set up secret prisons for CIA 22 Dec 2009 Lithuania's intelligence agency helped the CIA to set up secret prisons in the Baltic country, a parliamentary panel said today. However, the national security committee found no evidence that any suspects were interrogated in Lithuania. The committee said the state security department provided two facilities to the CIA: a small cell set up in 2002 that could house one suspect, and a unit set up in 2004 that was big enough to hold eight suspects. It said there was no evidence that the security agency had informed the president, the prime minister or other political leaders of its co-operation with the US.

'Some members of Congress may want to support rapid closure of Guantánamo but not to signal support for broad military detention powers.' Plan to Move Guantánamo Detainees Faces a New Delay 23 Dec 2009 Rebuffed this month by skeptical lawmakers when it sought finances to buy a prison in rural Illinois, the Obama administration is struggling to come up with the money to replace the Guantánamo Bay prison. As a result, officials now believe that they are unlikely to close the prison at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, and transfer its population of terrorism suspects until 2011 at the earliest -- a far slower timeline for achieving one of President Obama’s signature national security policies than they had previously hinted.

'Some of my colleagues in the prison lost their sight, some lost their limbs and others ended up mentally disturbed.' Guantanamo 'hell on Earth', says Somali detainee --Bare said the US authorities had never told him why he was arrested. 22 Dec 2009 A Somali just home from eight years in the US jail at Guantanamo Bay told AFP the prison was "hell on Earth", and alleged torture there had scarred some of his fellow inmates. Mohamed Saleban Bare, who arrived in his hometown of Hargeisa on Saturday, said he was innocent of any charges that would have caused security forces to arrest him in Pakistan in 2001 and transfer him to the US jail via Afghanistan. "Guantanamo Bay is like hell on Earth," he said in an interview Monday with an AFP reporter who visited him at his hotel in Hargeisa, capital of the northern breakaway state of Somaliland.

Goldman Sachs also benefited from the government’s determination to avoid losing jobs in lower Manhattan after the [Bush-Cheney] Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

'You were tied to a chair and they would tip you over on your back, put a towel over your face and pour water over you.' British Army 'waterboarded' suspects in 70s --Evidence casts doubt on guilt of man sentenced to hang for killing soldier 21 Dec 2009 Evidence that the British army subjected prisoners in Northern Ireland to waterboarding during interrogations in the 1970s is emerging after one of the alleged victims launched an appeal against his conviction for murder. ...The jury did not believe Liam Holden's insistence that he made the confession only because he had been held down by members of the Parachute Regiment, whom he says placed a towel over his face before pouring water from a bucket over his nose and mouth, giving him the impression that he was drowning. But now the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) has referred Holden's case to the court of appeal in Belfast after unearthing new evidence, and because of doubts about "the admissibility and reliability" of his confession.

The following alien encounter was reported to have occurred on 20 August 2009 at Unicoi State Park, Georgia in the United States. A husband and wife had gone camping on Saturday and on Sunday 4: 00 am in the morning when the wife woke up to go to the restroom. (There was a building near the campsite that provided restroom and shower facilities.) It was pitch black outside, except for the light from her lantern and the lights from the building.

After she started to leave to walk back to her tent, she stopped because she felt there was someone behind her. She turned around and saw three gray alien figures standing there.

At first she thought there were other campers, but when one of them turned and looked at her, she realized they were not human. For one thing, the arms were too long and the bodies were too thin. Their skin had a pale glossy look, and they had a very large cranium and lumps all over the top of the scalp.

They had huge black eyes that seemed to pierce right through her. She stands about 5’3” tall, and they looked to have been about one or two inches shorter than her. Then one that saw her started to inch toward her, but she bolted back to her tent. When her husband asked her what was wrong, all she could say was, “There’s (expletive) aliens back there!”

When he finally calmed her down enough, he had her stay in the tent while he went to go see what it was. He found nothing. Later that night, they kept waking up off and on; her husband said he saw a shadowy figure move outside. He didn’t hear any footsteps. He looked up and saw the top cover of the tent move, as if someone pulled it aside to look in at them from above.

Protection sought for mountain lions

December 23, 2009

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — A deer hunter’s shooting of a mountain lion last week in Iowa County has inspired an effort to secure legislative protection of the cats.

Catherine Oehl of Amana, Iowa, said she wants Iowans to ask state legislators to extend legal protection to mountain lions.

Oehl said the mountain lion shot Dec. 14 near Marengo “was not bothering or threatening anyone, and it should have been left alone so others could have had an opportunity to see it.”

Large animals in Iowa such as mountain lions and black bears stir strong emotions from both sides, said Department of Natural Resources Director Rich Leopold.

“This is an issue where the people of Iowa, through their elected officials, need to make their voices heard,” he said.

State furbearer specialist Ron Andrews said he has received many phone calls and e-mails since the shooting of the 125-pound male mountain lion.

“I would say at least two-thirds of them want some sort of legal protection for mountain lions,” he said.

Cedar Rapids deer hunter Raymond Goebel Jr. said he shot the mountain lion about 45 minutes after first spotting it reclining on a horizontal tree branch.

Goebel, 47, said he waited to shoot it until he had confirmed that doing so was legal and that the landowner did not object.

Longtime hunter Rich Patterson, director of the Indian Creek Nature Center in Cedar Rapids, said the shooting of a nonthreatening animal, “with no semblance of fair chase,” gives hunters a bad image.

Patterson said he, too, has received many phone calls and e-mails, “all from people very frustrated that he shot it.”

Leopold said Iowa code does not recognize mountain lions and black bears — extirpated native species that have recently begun reappearing in Iowa — so there is no law against killing them in the wild.

In 2001, the Department of Natural Resources asked the Legislature to classify mountain lions and black bears as furbearers, which would have given the DNR management authority and protected the animals from indiscriminate killing. The measure passed the House but died in the Senate.

Andrews acknowledged that many Iowans with children, pets or livestock would not consider the killing of a mountain lion indiscriminate and said that the furbearer status would allow people “the flexibility to take care of a problem.”

Researchers from UC Davis and UC Riverside say the 75-foot-wide Palmer's oak shrub has lived about 13,000 years despite inhospitable surroundings, regenerating itself with new shoots.
