Monday Night News Update | November 30, 2009

November 30, 2009

Another month is about ready to end ... and December will be upon us very shortly! I keep telling myself as fast as time seems to be traveling - it will be spring very shortly and I can once again spend time outside ...

Also another day of ongoing news to sort through. At times I chuckle and think I should get into hearing about Tiger Woods and the potential of his affair - or, the latest - he lost all his money when Dubai went down.

Front page on: http://www.nbcnewyork.com/

and - Chelsea was suppose to get married when Obama was vacationing and golfing with international banksters at Martha's Vineyard this summer ... but, Kennedy died and that marriage date suddenly became just a 'rumor'.

Likewise, the reality that our puppet president was chumming with globalist banksters that looted Americans - was also buried under funeral news. But then, the puppet needs to meet with his puppet masters.

It's already December 1st in Australia and from their morning paper:

TIPS FOR LAUNDRY SOAP:

Fels-Naptha bar soap is used in the homemade soap recipes, but you can use Ivory, Sunlight, Kirk's Hardwater Castile or Zote bars. Don't use heavily perfumed soaps. You can buy Fels-Naptha by the case usually from a local grocer or online. Washing Soda and Borax can normally be found on the laundry or cleaning aisle. Recipe cost approx. $2.

From Ace Hardware: Fels- Naptha Soap Bar:

Homemade Liquid Laundry Soap- Front or top load machine- best value

4 Cups hot tap water
1 Fels-Naptha soap bar
1 Cup Washing Soda
½ Cup Borax

- Grate bar of soap and add to saucepan with water. Stir continually over medium-low heat until soap dissolves and is melted.

-Fill a 5 gallon bucket half full of hot tap water. Add melted soap, washing soda and Borax. Stir well until all powder is dissolved. Fill bucket to top with more hot water. Stir, cover and let sit overnight to thicken.

-Stir and fill a used, clean, laundry soap dispenser half full with soap and then fill rest of way with water. Shake before each use. (will gel)

-Optional: You can add 10-15 drops of essential oil per 2 gallons. Add once soap has cooled. Ideas: lavender, rosemary, tea tree oil.

-Yield: Liquid soap recipe makes 10 gallons.

-Top Load Machine- 5/8 Cup per load (Approx. 180 loads)

-Front Load Machines- ¼ Cup per load (Approx. 640 loads)

Today from the "other Web Bot" George Ure's UrbanSurvival.com

"If you have noticed that both Cliff and I are being really low key about the predictive linguistics project there's a reason for that...so much of what's ahead over the next three years (1117 days) is grim beyond words - we ought to get to a point in either 2010 or 2011 that it won't matter and systemic collapse takes over - making the holding of any assets other than basics (grub, gold, gun, garden) - could become pointless. The good news is that the rickety time machine is easily confused between bespoke words about the future which may (or may not) be related to action at a particular point. The filtration process there becomes unimaginably difficult, not to mention just plain outright depressing for Cliff.

Bigger Problems

If my notes on the market seem to be suffering detachment, it's because of a few inconvenient truths about the global socioeconomic backdrop. Our own slapstick government hasn't been able to figure out that the recently hacked Climate Research Center emails and papers infer a huge engagement in thought control and junk science in order to stampede (with the cooperation of the PTB) regular folks into believing that global warming is our greatest problem.

Once-upon-a-time, maybe. But not with the Space Weather folks showing another goose egg for sunspots which really ought to have been increasing to the daily 5-10 range by this point in Solar Cycle 24, but which I've taken the liberty of renaming the Obama Minimum.

The good news - and bad of macro climate change: "Last Ice Age took just SIX months to arrive" reports the Daily Mail. Although there's slight comfort that the "Polar ice cap during last Ice Age may not have been as extensive as previously thought..." says an ANI report from India.

You know how my steel-trap mind works: I'll be watching ice cream sales."

THE SUN

http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/sunspots/

From the science forum I visit:

"The Sun right now is decidedly mohawked as regards the Polar Coronal holes. The North Polar Coronal hole is 90 degrees out from the South Polar Coronal Hole. Both are stripes running N-S instead of true circles.

There is a band running horizontally between the stripes of the mohawks in both hemispheres.

For the SOHO CEIT image, the cause is a darkening in the 195 band. On the STEREO images, it is the 195 and the 171 alternating dark & light like the cloud band of Jupiter.

In the Southern Hemisphere, this started well over a month ago as the Active Region there decayed (now just off limb in SOHO) and left suspended material that appeared to hang still while the Sun rotated, leaving a nice trail.

Just something to watch while the Sun takes another nap."

The following information may be the most important we have ever published. One of our Intel sources, highly placed in banking circles, tells us that on 1/1/10 all banks that have received TARP funds have been informed by the Federal Reserve that they must further restrict any commercial lending. Loans have to be 75% collateralized, 50% of which has to be in cash, which is a compensating balance.

Gold’s spectacular swoon on Friday provided fresh evidence that a red-hot bull market is in no imminent danger of cooling off. The initial plunge was orchestrated by bullion bankers and other promiscuous borrowers of gold when some unsettling financial news out of Dubai triggered a misbegotten panic into, of all things, dollars. Smelling blood, gold shorts pulled their bids when it looked as though the dollar was about to soar. Alas, the buck barely got off the launching pad before gravity re-asserted itself with a vengeance. The rally was so short-lived and feeble that it will have significantly diminished the dollar’s bizarre status as a “safe haven.” That in turn will make it harder in the future for the central banks of Europe, Japan and the U.S. to kick off an inevitable dollar-support operation with some “news” annnouncement designed to promote a short squeeze. Conversely, gold’s powerful, market-driven surge will now be even more difficult for officialdom to suppress, since Friday’s rebound was so swift and steep as to purge all doubts that bulls are overwhelmingly in charge.

The default in Dubai is not the beginning of Financial Meltdown 2. Don’t look for dominoes here. Yes, it does raise serious questions about the vast debt-overhang in emerging economies – particularly East Europe. But, this is not a “sovereign default” in the strict sense, nor is there any great risk of contagion. Oil-rich Abu Dhabi is loaded with liquid assets, possibly as much as $800 billion. They could pay off Dubai World’s measly $60 billion debt without batting an eye. But Abu Dhabi wants to send its wastrel younger brother a wake-up-call by forcing Dubai to restructure its debt. That means that banks, bondholders and contractors will have to take a haircut, which is not surprising given the abysmal condition of the commercial real estate market.

Battle Rifle Basics
by Michael Gaddy
LewRockwell.com
While anyone with an elementary knowledge of firearms recognizes the advantages of a handgun for concealed and close quarters defense use, the time where a battle rifle could be used for self-defense is rapidly approaching. The size and weight of a handgun provides many advantages but these factors also become a liability if one is forced to defend themselves at a distance of more than a few yards. While there exist handguns used for hunting and target shooting, those are not usually carried or used for self-defense and their effective range is still limited, especially when compared to a battle rifle.

NEWS ABOUT OUR NATION'S BIGGEST BUSINESS: WAR
USA is no longer an industrialized power - WAR is its specialty!

A "Necessary War" -- for a Gas Pipeline - It's Obama's War Now

November 30, 2009

There are now at present some 68,000 U.S. troops and 42,000 allied forces occupying Afghanistan, in league with the Northern Alliance warlords and the corrupt and feeble Karzai regime in Kabul. President Obama clearly wishes to increase the figure and will announce before an audience of West Point cadets Tuesday that he will add over 30,000 more while pushing the Europeans to add 10,000. This will bring the total number of occupation forces to around the level of the Soviet deployment at its peak in the 1980s.

The Soviets were trying to protect the secular government in Afghanistan and to discourage Islamic fundamentalism, a potential threat to the neighboring Soviet Central Asian republics such as Uzbekistan. What is Obama trying to do?

Because make no mistake about it, this is Barack Obama’s war now. With this announcement he will have personally increased the force in Afghanistan by over 50,000 troops in response to appeals from his generals ...

Japan Times | Retired diplomat to testify on secret pact: Ex-bureaucrat, 91, set to tell court of Okinawa reversion deal

To take the stand: Bunroku Yoshino, 91, a retired senior Foreign Ministry official, is interviewed recently. KYODO PHOTO

November 30, 2009 - A former senior Foreign Ministry official will testify Tuesday before the Tokyo District Court about state documents that plaintiffs argue indicate the existence of a secret Japan-U.S. pact about cost burdens for the 1972 reversion of Okinawa to Japan.

Although successive administrations of the now-ousted Liberal Democratic Party consistently denied the secret pact existed, 91-year-old Bunroku Yoshino, the ministry's former American Bureau chief who was one of Japan's negotiators for the reversion, has claimed otherwise.

The documents include one that is supposed to indicate that Japan secretly shouldered $4 million in costs on behalf of the United States to restore Okinawa farmland used by the U.S. military ....

Burning UFO Spotted In The Skies Over South Miami

SOUTH MIAMI (CBS4) ―

The truth may be out there, but South Florida police agencies say they're not going to spend any more resources looking for it.

As of Monday morning, Miami-Dade police said they had classified the case of the flying object believed to be on fire as unfounded.

"They found nothing that could conclude anything was wrong or there was anything criminal in nature," Miami-Dade Police Det. Robert Williams told CBS4.com.

On Sunday, reports from witnesses of a fiery flying object caused officials to conduct a massive search. Police and fire fighters scoured the area by car, boat and by helicopter.

Eleven-year-old Luis Mercado and his mom said they saw the object as they were driving home from dinner.

"We saw like a giant red-like, a huge intense red ball which flew right across the side," Mercado said. "We though it was a hot air balloon or we thought it was a plane like crashing. We didn't know what it was at all."

Several witnesses reported seeing the object that might have looked like a hot air ballon on fire.

Officials received those reports at about 7 p.m. from people who live in the area around Southwest 84th Street and 52nd Avenue.

"It was observed. It was noticed," Miami-Dade Fire Rescue spokesman Lt. Eddy Ballester told The Miami Herald. "Whether it is on fire or not is not known."

Whatever it was, it drew the attention from people in the neighborhood and officials took the report seriously enough to send 20 firefighters and launch a Miami-Dade police helicopter to search for what appeared to be a balloon. The search has since been called off.

The only thing that was recovered from all this was a small piece of mesh that a neighbor found on fire.

"I saw a piece of wire mesh -- the thing that was on fire," said Steve Prellezo, a neighbor. "It was lying in the middle of the street. I parked my car and got out and dragged it to the side of the road. There was some gravel and I just covered it up and turned off the fire."

Firefighters are now waiting on the fire investigator to try and determine what that piece of mesh is. As of now they are not sure if it has anything to do with the fire in the sky that witnesses saw.

Meanwhile, Kathleen Bergen, spokeswoman for the FAA told CBS4.com that her agency was not involved in the investigation.

"We do not have any reports of any plane parts falling from the sky in that area," Bergen said.
