Today I decided not to go pull out one my of pond pumps with temperatures still below freezing - because I'm a wimp. No other excuse! The pump is deep enough in the water - it won't freeze ... like my hands would freeze messing around in the cold water.
Just found out from one of my Cave News Blog communicators in an email - that they did not realize that the Vatican owns 60% of the land in Israel. I don't have the links right now where I found that - but have also heard others speak about that interesting statistic on Internet radio.
The American sheeple's job is just to 'be very, very afraid' and look to bribed politicians to 'keep them safe'. Following the money is NOT something American sheeple are conditioned to do - unless, they are watching the 'Rich and the Famous' distractions fed them by government-corporate media.
The survey taken a few years back exposed that - less than 23% of Americans with college degrees could locate the 4 nations of Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Israel on a map. Hate to take a survey as to Americans even realizing the difference between Arabians and Persians - let alone the sects within Islam (that don't get along). Wonder what the percentage of Americans are that could locate the Vatican on a map? They could possibly think the Vatican is located in Israel!!
Personally, the more our country flies over Pakistan with unmanned drones dropping bombs - the more I tend to worry about terrorists in our country - really ticking millions off.
I know how I would feel if some other country came flying over dropping bombs on me! But then, listening to military stuff - being 'droned' is what is planned for some Americans when the SHTF with the census GPS readings making it convenient.
I need to retain my sense of humor since a census worker came to my door and did his GPS at my front door this summer. I'm probably on that drone list ... hope my dogs are outside when the bomb drops ... they are innocent little guys.
Sad when a pushing 60 year old woman is even thinking about a drone flying over her house - given my bloodline to two US Presidents and a Dad that was a Marine and fought in WWII. So be it. Have to chuckle - going out by a dropped drone bomb would be a more auspicious way to go than falling in my ice cold pond and hitting my head on my Turtle Island rock. We all have to exit someday.

December 4, 2009 - In October and November, the government spent $292 billion more than it took in, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said.
That was even worse than the same period last year, when the government was on its way to posting a record $1.4 trillion deficit for the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30.
The federal budget has been battered by the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression of the 1930s, as tax revenues have plunged and spending on safety-net programs like unemployment insurance have skyrocketed.
The budget deficit was $176.4 billion in October, according to Treasury Department records, and the CBO estimated the deficit for November will have come in at $115 billion.
The CBO gave its figures in billions of dollars and said numbers may not add up to the totals because of rounding.
Receipts totaled $132 billion in November, the CBO estimated, down 9 percent from the same month last year. That was partly due to new legislation that gives increased tax write-offs to corporations.

The economy is struggling, the unemployment rate is high, and many Americans are struggling to pay the bills, but one class of Americans is doing quite well: government workers. Their pay levels are soaring, they enjoy unmatched benefits, and they remain largely immune from layoffs, except for some overly publicized cutbacks around the margins. To make matters worse, government employees—thanks largely to the power of their unions—have carved out special protections that exempt them from many of the rules that other working Americans must live by. California has been on the cutting edge of this dangerous trend, which has essentially turned government employees into a special class of citizens.

AN OPEN LETTER TO AMERICA’S CHRISTIANS

I was led to Christ at the tender age of 5 while sitting on my mother’s lap. I was raised in a devout, churchgoing Christian home. I have been in Gospel ministry all of my adult life (I am 57 years old). I have attended or have degrees and/or diplomas from 4 fundamentalist/evangelical colleges or Bible schools. I have been the Senior Pastor of a local Independent Baptist congregation for 34 years and counting. I have spoken in churches and Christian gatherings all over the country. I say all of that simply to provide my Christian credentials (in much the same way that the Apostle Paul provided his Jewish credentials in Philippians 3:5,6). As such, I believe I know something about the attitudes, conduct, philosophy, mindset, etc., of America’s Christians. I am not an outsider; I speak as one within the conservative/fundamentalist Christian camp.

If we ever understand the spread of Islam into heretofore non-Islamic societies as the spread of Islamic law, rather than the spread of just another “religion,” we might actually perceive the danger it poses to our own law and liberty — and act accordingly. This means, for starters, halting Islamic immigration as a means of preventing the adoption of sharia by popular demand. As we can see in Britain, where sharia courts are now recognized by the government, a Muslim population of just 3 percent can produce a lot of popular demand. Whether this understanding comes in demographic time is the big question.
Meanwhile, back at the White House, it’s Ramadan time, which, of course, is universally treated and regarded as merely a religious holiday for the White House to celebrate with constituent-worshippers, OIC ambasaadors, even the occasional unindicted co-conspirator. But if we think beyond the generic notion of religious diversity and consider the specific ramifications of Islamic law, questions begin to dawn. Some heretofore unimagined number of the guests supping with the president must be proponents of the spread of islamic law, no? Even the spread of Islamic law… in the United States?

Dry Valleys, Antarctica
The McMurdo Dry Valleys are a row of valleys west of McMurdo Sound, Antarctica, so named because of their extremely low humidity and lack of snow and ice cover. Photosynthetic bacteria have been found living in the relatively moist interior of rocks. Scientists consider the Dry Valleys to be the closest of any terrestrial environment to Mars.
With its 14 spectral bands from the visible to the thermal infrared wavelength region and its high spatial resolution of about 50 to 300 feet, ASTER images Earth to map and monitor the changing surface of our planet. ASTER is one of five Earth-observing instruments launched Dec. 18, 1999, on NASA's Terra satellite. The instrument was built by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. A joint U.S./Japan science team is responsible for validation and calibration of the instrument and the data products.
The broad spectral coverage and high spectral resolution of ASTER provides scientists with critical information for surface mapping and monitoring of dynamic conditions and temporal change.

This past summer, I took my Dad and my two daughters out on a night time boat ride on the Mississippi. We got into an area that had a massive amount of these slimmy bass ..... and they were jumping every where. Some of them jumped into our boat and a few almost hit us in the head. I threw a blanket over my daughters heads and told them to duck. I couldn't wait to get back home. One of us could have been seriously injured if one of the fish would have struck us.These fish are from straight out of hell. Needless to say, no more night time boat rides on the muddy Mississippi for us. Another freedom lost, thanks to the Chinese.
